Regular Meeting held
at Midwout on the 7th of May
1680. Present the Constable
and all the Overseers.
Jacob Pardon, Plff.
versus [Minno?] Joannes, Deft.
The Plaintiff demands of the Deft. in accordance with
a writing which pertains to his father.
Thomas Pardon eight days boat fares.
@ 12 guldens per day, amounting to 96 gls.: further an
account for various articles woven stuff,
without date or signature, but which he says
was delivered to him by his mother-in-law,
to the amount of 166 gls.
The Deft. says he is willing to pay for all
for which he is actually indebted, and
demands satisfactory accounting as well as exhibition
of his power of attorney.
Constable and Overseers, after hearing both sides,
condemn the Plff. with the costs, since he
exhibits no power of attorney nor has he delivered
any accounting to the Deft. except his
action, which he might claim of the Deft.
J. G. v. Marcken, empowered by Mr. P. d. La Noy,
versus Titus Sirachs, Deft. Default for the second time.
The Plff. asks payment for the book account of
Mr. Bedlo to the amount of 24 gls., with the costs
Constable and Overseers condemn the Deft.
to pay the demanded sum of 24 gls.,
with the costs of the action
