The Plff. complains that the Deft. from time to time has done him great injury by the chasing of his cattle, whereby he has brought 9 milch cows and two horses into the pound.
The Deft. says he would gladly repair the fencing for the Plff. for a consideration and complains that he has driven his cattle into the woods; wherefore he protests regarding the injury suffered thereby.
Constable and Overseers, after hearing both parties, refer the case to arbitrators, for whom they choose Symon Hansz and Hendrick Strycker, to estimate the damages caused by the driving of the cattle into the woods.
The arbitrators decree that the [Deft. crossed out?] Plff. shall pay for the damages which the Deft. has suffered by his past negligence in regard to his horses and cattle; shall make good with jug of rum for the friends; and each shall stand half of the costs of the suit.
