attention espicially to the Spanish book market -a
number of books in Spanish were produced by the
printers in Toulouse. The B. Anglicus is an example.

This encyclopaedic account "of the properies of things" written by
an English monk in the 13th C defines + explains everything
from Angels, Alabaster, + Arabia to Earthworms + Zinziba (gingu)
-The only Spanish incunabul (?) edition. Toulouse served as
the gateway for the main route through the Pyrenees,
+ about 12 Spanish books for export were printed
there in the 15th C.
this was Mayer's last fully signed + dated book +
his most ambitious venture emplying a new font of
type + original woodcuts.
