Pursuant to notice from the office of President Bryan, the members of the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees met in the president's office. The following members were present: Wood, Biddle, Jones, Hopkins and Bryan.

Mr. Barrett of Howell and Thomas was present together with State Architect, Riddle, Miss Keating and Mr. Addicott.

Mr. Barrett presented the preliminary plans for the new library building as sketched by the firm of Howell and Thomas. After a rather full discussion, it was moved by Wood, seconded by Biddle that the preliminary plans be approved and that the architects proceed to formulate the appropriate final plans and specifications to cover the construction of the proposed library building. The motion was duly passed.
