SIR: I have the honor to make the following Report of Operations for the month of March 1872. Cape Foulweather Lt Station Oregon 1871-72 Completed and Inspected one third of metal work for Tower. Work delayed by partial wreck of Schooner engaged in Transportation of Light House Materials: no loss to Light House Establishment. Surveyed Lt. Ho Reservation- Probable operations in April. Deliver materials. Commence work on foundation. Continuous Inspection Cape Flattery Lt. Station Wash. Feb 1872 Continued work on Cistern & Transportation of Materials from Neah Bay, but Through the want of mail communications have not yet received definite accounts of the amount of work.
