SIR:
I have the honor to make the following Report of Operations for the month of March 1872.

Cape Foulweather Lt Station Oregon 1871-72
Completed and Inspected one third of metal work for Tower.
Work delayed by partial wreck of Schooner engaged in Transportation of Light House Materials: no loss to Light House Establishment. Surveyed Lt. Ho Reservation-
Probable operations in April.
Deliver materials. Commence work on foundation. Continuous Inspection

Cape Flattery Lt. Station Wash. Feb 1872
Continued work on Cistern & Transportation of Materials from Neah Bay, but Through the want of mail communications have not yet received definite accounts of the amount of work.
Probable Operations in April.
Continue excavation and Transportation. Send men to erect Fog Signal.
