2: Moderate to fresh breeze to gale these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours rain - Last part of 24 hours rain showers and clearing weather - Sea rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.68 to 29.90 - Keeper looking over the material for reparis.

3: Moderate breeze West to light South wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours light rain showers - Last part of 24 hours hard rain showers - Sea quite rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.96 to 29.74 - Keeper went to Newport after mail and supplies.
