came into Camp at Wmport
Oct 25th 1862 sleep in the farm
House on Saturday night
one death in camp today
26 Sunday very wet and cold
had no religious service in
the daytime exorted a little
at night in a tent one was
converted sleep in farm house

27 Monday Penni and I fixed
up our tent busey all day
tired at night went to
lie in tent but so cold could
not sleep much

28 Tuesday spent the day
running about forming
acquaintances in camp
sleep well in the tent to night

29 Wenesday spent the
time in reading talking
and preying health good
so far thank god
