3it $725.00 being $75 more for transportation between Reno & Carson -- Senator J P Jones & wife came down from Gold Hill last evening -- Stopping with Yerington -- The band was out serenading A Livingston, et al after midnight. 1895 -- Sam Davis Blowout -- Andrew Nicholls Sunday Oct 6 Same -- About town -- Sam Davis had a sort of a blowout at his Holstein ranch this PM, entertaining the Nevada Press Association, Agricultural Society officers, etc -- I was invited but missed the carriage provided, and wouldnt walk three miles.
