Thursday 6th
Write Home, read a letter
from Bro Miller Carter and
wife wrote to the Sheriff of
Cecil and C Crouch in
elkton, sent to Hagerstown
bought a Stove for my tent
for which I paid four
dollars had a prayer meeting
in orderly Smith tent to night
had a good time had a
conversation with (the) man who
was converted on Sunday night
and took him into the Church
on probation he is very happy
____read the 2 Cor 2 chap

Friday 7
Very cold and snowing
all day tent very comfortable
many visitors because of
my stove Doct nelson came
in and read several treatise
to me on desire wrote to
Ms. Elliott of Elkton and
Miller of Cherry Hill
read the first chapter of
James still snowing good night
