Tuesday 25 Visited the
general head quarters
a very small man in
statu(re) but very clear had
an introduction to major
Russell engaged him
to preach for me on
thanksgiven day and I
promised to preach for
him on sabeth secured a
boy from home and a letter
and boy from Mrs. Hiss
of Elkton for the sick of
the 614 Reg spent the evening
in my tent anything to pass
faster the night very dark
and wet Wrote to Mrs Hiss
