Dear Mrs Stanford:

I have the pleasure to herewith
enclose to you the Consul Certificate
and invoice for the two cases
containing the Sphinxes, which are
now on their way. The Bill of
Lading will be sent to Messrs. Davies
Turner & Co 40 & 42 Broadway, N. Y.
Therefore Mr. Lathrop will kindly
sign one of the enclosed certificates
and send it to them.

I trust if a photograph is made
of the Mausoleum after these
sphinxes have been placed you
will kindly send me one, as I
have the greatest desire to see
how they will look in the place
they are intended for.
