At request of your
Chairman on Fire & Water I have
attended to the matter of lighting the Engine
House and enclose bids from the
Seattle Gas Co + from the Kilbourne [Pacific] Electric
Light Co. I am informed by the superintendent
of the Seattle Electric Light Co that at this
time they can only light the Main St House
this they can do immediately the Seattle
Electric Light Co charge $1.50 one dollar fifty cents
for light 15% off and a charge of the
sales for each light for wiring and
insulation. The bids for the gas + other
electric light Co please find enclosed
I also submit for your
approval the following names to
complete the organization of Engine Co No 4
and for the Company to be located at the
Main Street station and the truck company
at the Battery Street Station - This number
