Saturday July 7
Same - Wife & I worked hard at room on statistical figuring all day - merely
going out to dine - Bed at 10 -

Sunday July 8
Same - Worked same - Evening ditto - wife bed 10 - I sat up working all night -
considering that we started in at 7 this morning, I made a long day of it -

Monday July 9
Clear & hot - 78 - Saw wife off on morning train at 7:20 for Reno - Slept from
9 to 12 - washed shaved etc & PM finished writing up my remarks to go with my
report - Now have to copy them off - 9 pages - Evening Opera House - Lockstader's
Ministrels - Crowded house - Pretty good - also oppressively hot - Home at 12 -
Worked all night -

Tuesday July 10
AM clear & hot - PM cloudy, with a few sprinkles of rain in the evening - finished

My big Mining Report one & delivered
2 at Carson "The Cattle King"

copying the narrative of my report just in time to take the morning train for Carson - Called on Garrard at the Mint short time - Went to State Capitol & about town & at 3:30 PM was at the Mint again - Delivered to Gerrard my [/////] completed report filing bill for $250 - It will leave for Washington tomorrow - Home on evening train - Soon went to theater & saw play of "The Cattle King" - Blood & thunder
