10, quite a number of others from Reno & Carson - Town full of people - Procession moved at 11 out on B st & back on C, Nationals, Emmetts, & Reno Guard, Liberty Hose & Engine [Cog] Gold Hill - Divide Hose Co & Paid Fire Dept Car of State, Ship of State & 1/2 doz carriages - Very fine what there was of it - Exercises at Opera

House - Bob Lindsay orator of the day - 1 was about town - Evening at room - Bed
12 - Rear of procession was packed mule, a la 49, labelled "Yuba Dam" - with Charley Sullivan & Jack Currie on foot as old '49 miners - male packed with cooking utensils, camp equipage - mining tools, etc -

Same - 76 - Wife came on morning train at 12 N - Room went out to lunch - PM
busy at room, helping me fix up my statistical figures - Evening ditto - Bed at 10-
