Dear Madam
Allow me to
tender to you my heartfeltsympathy at your very
sudden & sad loss of the besthearted man in the
world. He was the only man in the world who gave
me words of encouragement when I was in distress.
I wrote him a short time ago asking of him the prive-
lege of naming my son after him as it would be a
great & honorable name for him to bear through
life & it would enable me to partly pay back the
obligations I feel I am under for his words of en
couragement & advice & at he same time my wife
& I would consider it a great honor & personal favor
