French Canadian speaks French fluently,
and therefore he was a good companion
in Paris. I stoped one morning to
look at a bunch of horses being led up
the street when a man in civies asked
me in good English if I thought those
horses looked disabled, too disabled
for army purposes. We talked about
the hroses a while and then began to find
