Untitled Page 58To Whom it May Concern: Notice is hereby given by Jane L. Stanford, by her Attorney in fact, the owner of the property hereinafter described: (1) That the sidewalk illuminating tiles, of the Natural Sciences Buildings, at Leland Stanford Junior University, Palo Alto, Santa Clara County, California the contract for doing which was heretofore let to Henry Haustein, and which contract was filed for record in the Recorder's office of the County of Santa Clara, on the _____ day of _____, 1900, and which said building is situated on said property, was actually completed on the seventeenth day of June, 1901, and accepted by [--me--] [insert] the undersigned [/insert] on said day. That the property hereinbefore referred to, and on said building is situated, is [--more particularly described as follows--]: in the grounds of said University above named in the County of Santa Clara, State of California [left margin] H.A.S.
