Sir,
I beg to requaint you that
I have received the wither mentioned sum
of £20 in respect of Services rendered by the
Officers of the Coast Guard up at Hulmpton
Station in November last to the Barque-
"Lady Lonsborough" into the circumstances of which
I will thank you to enquire and bring the
same under the notice of the Comptroller
General, and take his directions as to the disposal
of the amount.

of the examination of William Rivers – Master of the
Steam Ship 'Scandinavian" – taken before me on the
17th Augt 1857 duly certified as required by the 449th
Sectn of the MS Act 1854. The charge for the same is 3 s./6 d.
