at Arms also permanent -- Reports of Committees on Credentials, Order of Business, Platforms, etc adopted. In the caucus it was agreed by a vote of 30 to 37 that the convention should pass any nomination it saw fit -- Dr Patterson and S Summerfield were so strongly against this proposition that they withdrew from the Convention -- It was also agreed that any nominations passed could be filled by the Central Committee if deemed expedient at any time before election -- At 3:45 recess taken till 7 PM -- Wheelmens Brass Band furnished the music for the convention -- Hall crowded -- many interested spectators, and nominees from the other parties present -- The nominations having been all agreed upon in caucus, there was no contest but all went by acclamation or Secretary casting the ballot -- At 7:30 PM, the convention was called to order again -- New State Central Committee chosen -- and following nominations made:
