Dear Sir,

A survey of Mrs
Putnam's lot in Mt Auburn
has been reported to the Comm ee
on Lots and they agree to accept
the bequest for the repair of said
lot in perpetuity.

I write merely to notify
you that all things are ready
on part of the Corporation, and
not to urge haste on your
part.

When you are ready, I will
send the usual document for
execution by you.

Truly yours,

A. J. Coolidge

Hon. Emory Washburn,

Dear Sir,

I have caused a
survey of the lot in Mt Auburn of
the late Grael Lombard to be reported
to the Committee on Lots, and they have
replied that the Corporation will
accept the bequest of Mt Lombard
according to the provisions of his will.

It is Evident from the clause
referred to that he did not contemplate
a guaranty of perpetual
repair. The Trustees will accept it
and apply the income as directed.

I enclose a contract in the
regular from, which I suppose should
be signed by the Ex ors or a majority
of them. After Execution, it is recorded
and returned to the
Ex ors

Truly yours
A. J. Coolidge
