San Francisco, Dec. 19, 1901.
Dear Sister:-
I was pleased to receive your telegram on Tuesday, saying you arrived in New York City. I am now just in receipt of your communication dated Chicago, Sunday, Dec,15th,1901. I note what you say regarding the extreme cold weather and that the temperature was 28 below Zero. I will see Mr.Hodges regarding the openings in the vestibules of the Church so he can get demensions and send same to you, to be forwarded to Salviati & Co. to have made for the same.
I enclose herewith a drawing handed me byMr.Day two or three days ago giving dimensions of space over the doors entering the Museum. I send you this so you may write Salaviati just what you would like to have them make for this space.
I also enclose another statement of properties reserved by yourself.
At a meeting of the P.I.Co. yesterday I cast a vote(representing your interests) for T.H.Hubbard for President, but Mr.Crocker was elected President by vote of Mr.Green representing the Crocker interests and Mr.Platt, representing the Hubbard interests. It is on record in the minute book that I nominated and voted for Mr.Hubbard.
The weather has been quite cold at Palo Alto since you left here, but it is not becoming much milder and I am in hopes we will have some rain. I have been very busy since you left and have not as yet had an opportunity of visiting Vina, but hope to be able soon. It seems there is always something to take up my time. Yesterday is was P.I.Co. and this afternoon it will be Guatamala Rd. election and Market St.Ry.Co. business to attend to. I am pleased to say we are all present in good health and hope on receipt of this it will find you enjoying the same. With love, I am Your affectionate brother
