A good day. Ben and Paul and Owen plowed in their tobacco. Josie washed I got dinner. We got the first snaps out of our garden today and I burnt them so that we could not eat them. I had fried chicken and that was all. This evening Ben carried Henry and Edna and I to White Falls. Very much a gainst his will. I caught enough fish to make a dish for supper. Mr Carrington Hubbard was here a while this evening. I did not meet him [ink mark across paper] well I went to sleep and made my mark.
