Wednesday, July 24, 1918

A good day. Ben and Marvin helped Charley Hutcherson thrash wheat half a day a piece. Paul worked on the barns. Josie washed. I got dinner. This evening I went to George Blairs. Denia has a splendid garden. She gave me some corn and tomatoes. Mrs Hutcherson gave me some nice apples to cook.
