My dear Daughter,
Your two postals
were recieved the first just as I was
sitting down to breakfast Friday morn
the other I got from the office when
I was returning from [[Roggan|Mr. Roggans]]
where I had been to buy wheat
I ordered not expecting to get any thing
so was agreeably surprised and pleased
to know you were getting along so
nicely, came home fed the chickens
took my own supper quite comfortable
and I hope with a thankful heart
soon [[Mrs Milliken]] came in and asked
if I wanted her to help me to bed or
to do any thing, [[Mrs. Clark]] came and
stayed till bed time, [[Minnie]] came
