The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Snodgrass, Professors
Williamson, Murray, MacKerras,
Dupuis, and Mowat.

The minutes of last meeting were
read and approved.

bachelor's viz.

The Senate having sustained the
University Examination of the following
candidates for graduation, viz. Robert
Crawford and John Francis Fraser
resolved to confer and hereby do
confer upon each of these gentlemen the
degree of Bachelor of Arts.

Maclean

The Senate considered an application
from Rev. Matthew W. Maclean of Paisley,
Bachelor of Arts of the College of
Princeton, New Jersey to be admitted
ad eundem gradum, and there having
been laid on the table certificates showing
his regular attendance during the curriculum
of four years in Glasgow University,
and also a diploma of B.A. from
the College of Princeton, the Senate agreed
to admit him ad eundem gradum,
and accordingly hereby confer on
him the degree of Bachelor of Arts.
