To Wash Chints
Take a pound & a 1/2 of whole Rice boyl it in three gallons of water then strain and
divide it in three parts, wash that gown clean in the two first and stiffen it in
the other which will be the thickest, when dry Iron it on the right side

Miss Bennet, one pound of soft soape, two ounces of spermicitty one ounce
of Camphire rubbed fine then Boyle all together till smooth to wash hands
