Monday, November 25, 1918

A clear colde day. Ben killed a beef this morning. Mr Owen helped him. They both cut wood at Mags this evening. Josie washed some this evening. I stewed pumpkins to day. I went to Carries this evening. I did not stay but a few minutes. Janie Gravley and Effie Brumfield come here to night. Mr Owen and Luke come in a few minutes. Mr Owen played the fiddle a little while. Ben and Josie and Janie and Effie are playing cards now.
