Daddy fell and hurt his arm and hand.
Since then he has spent his time between
his bed and chair which he manages to get
to with Mama pulling and lifting him. Of
course he hasn't been outside at all and
Mama has tried to do the irrigating of the
lawn, flowers and trees as well as do her
work, go to the store, and do the business
In July one of the tenants moved out up
stairs and about September 1st the other upstairs
tenant moved out and so 2 flats are
empty and each one had to have things
done to them. One flat the floors were in
bad shape and had to be fixed, also new
shades etc.
Mama is about distracted with all her
troubles, the heat etc.
Lee and I went down the last week of
Sept. right after the heat wave and took
them a lot of eats. We mowed the lawn,
cleared the driveway, trimmed some trees
etc. Lee tore down the outside toilet
which they had wanted down for some
time and gathered it and other old lumber
and boxed up and brought a big load home.
