25 4 inches of snow this morning
26 6 deg below zero at 10 PM to night

Tues Dec Christmas Found a scant
4 inches of snow on the ground this morning
and a little colder but cleared off and was quite
pleasant until about night when it got to
be pretty blamed cold 6 deg below zero at 10 oclock PM.
We had a goodly number of kinsman and kins
women here to help us celebrate the day. Bert
and Wills Nellie Ednie and Alice were here. Hats baby
is too young to be taken out yet so Charlie and her
and the baby didnt come. Reas,s folks were all
here so were Franks and Lew and Mary. We had
speaking peices recitations songs and dialogues
and charades and C making it interesting
and Grace took a glance into the future and
gave us a short sight at it and if it turns
out as she saw times will improve
early in the next century for her vision
saw me in the presidential chair and
the ballance of us filling high places in
the national government.

Wed Dec 26 6 deg below zero this
morning and pretty cool all day but clear and still.
Our comp any all went home to day but Edna
and Alice. Lew went to see after his
pasturing down near Franks. I worked
some in the shop to day but it was
pretty cold you bet.
