Regular Meeting
July 9, 1901

Proceedings of Meeting of Board of Directors created by act
of Incorporation of the Houston Oil Company of Texas held
at the office of said company in the city of Houston -
Harris County, Texas on the 9th day of July 1901 at 2:30 P.M. of
said day.

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Henry T. Kent and the
following members of said Board of Directors were found to be
present and answered to their names viz:

Mr. Henry T. Kent of St. Louis, Mo
Mr. B. F. Bonner of Houston, Texas
Mr. Joe H. Eagle of Houston, Texas
Mr. H. H. Willson of Houston, Texas
Mr. S.B. Cooper of Beaumount, Texas

Upon motion duly seconed - Mr. Joe H. Eagle was elected
temporary Chairman of the meeting and on motion duly
seconded Mr. T. A. Helbig was elected temporary Secretary.

Thereupon the said Chairman presented to the Board
copy of the Act of Incorporation of the Houston Oil
Company of Texas - which on motion duly seconded and
unanimously adopted was ordered spread upon the
minutes of this meeting.

Know all men by these presents: That we,
B. F. Bonner and Joe H. Eagle of the City of Houston - County of Harris
State of Texas and S. B. Cooper of the City of Beaumont Jefferson
County Texas and our associates herein being desirous of
forming a private corporation under Title XXI of the
revised Statutes of the State of Texas have for that purpose
associated ourselves together and have made adopted and
subscribed - and by these presents do make adopt and subscribe
the following.

The name of the corporation shall be the Houston Oil
Company of Texas.
