14th Halled some wood, Plowing for wheat
Lucy Cutting down corn in Lot for Sewing wheat
Mr Dalton firing Tobacco - in old prize barn

15 - Firing old prize barn fair moderate weather
Plowing for wheat, Lucy Cutting down &
Piling or Stacking Corn

16. Sent to mill 5 Bus. for ourselves 3 Bus
for Mr Dalton Plowing for wheat Lucy
Cutting down & Piling Corn fair weather
Mr Furbush has been here for a week or more

17 Fanning Out Some wheat Sewing
Flat Land in Lot Runing water furrows
Cleaning them out &C, Sam opening water
Furrows fine weather & moderate

18. Plowing for wheat cleaning out drains
in Lot this morning, Danl getting rails
Aaron here to work mending fixing Jerrys
waggon we help them in Tobacco for 2
days work for him, helping me

19th. Cloudy & like for rain Digging our
Sweet Potatoes this morning Lucy here yet
Richard gone to Court - weather moderate

20. Tolerable day I am unwell & shall not
go to Court. weather warm.

21. Rained to day about 12 oclock & stoped
us digging our Sweet Potatoes

22nd A days of days in our Country negroes
all permitted to Vote & I cannot. Mr Peake Conducts
the negroe Election & John F Patrick, John R. Whitehead
Kept the Polls & such voting, not one negroe
could tell who he voted for.

23. Cloudy & cool this morning Saml Stayed
nearly all day at Electionyesterday Mr Dalton Came
back Soon & went to sewing wheat, Sewing
Wheat. Tommy Plowing Lucy Cuting down & Piling
Corn to Sew wheat – Cool to day

24th. Sam in Shop yesterday with Abram &
Shelling corn for Mrs Wyatt, Pulling fodder off
Sorghum Sam & Abram in Shop clear to day
