November 2, 1867 - November 14, 1867

[…] Novr 2nd Sewing wheat Cutting down corn

3rd Novr. finished Sewing Wheat yesterday Sewed
14½ Bushels, moderate this Sunday Sent Mrs
Furbush home yesterday by Ell

4th. Mr Dalton gone to Mill 5 Bushels for us
Corn for meal 2½ for himself some for Mrs
Wyatt & some for Sam - fixing up fanmill
5 to make molasses & put up the mill

5 Began to Pull Corn in Lot as the squirrels
or Some body Seems to be getting it very
much Halled up 3 Loads out of Lot & Sewed
ps Rye at Gate I went to old place but
did not see Bybee, went to Mr Kelleys but
got not hands, to day - quite Cool to day

6 Pulling & Halling up Corn nearly all this week

7th Still Pulling & Halling up ps next to Guanoed Corn
next to woods squirrels has eat a great deal

8 Halling up Corn next to woods above Sam
House & little ps next to Pines & then we are
going to shucking & Housing

9th. Shucking Corn & Halled Some wood
Housing Corn Shucked corn till 9 or 10
Oclock & then Housed all we had Shucked
I went to old place & Mr Kelleys & to
meeting at Strait Stone -

10 Rained & none of us went to meeting from here

11 began to Grind Sorghem only made
the 1st day about 4 Gallons & upwards

12th Molasses mill got out of fan last
evening & began mash & finished grinding
about dinner & made near about 10
Gallons in all Halled wood Mr Dalton
went to Pulling Corn in lot above his House
fired Tobacco yesterday morning Sunday
it rained & Saturday night it rained very hard.
Turned very cool & windy last night

13th Halling & Pulling corn to day halled
Loads on hill side next to orchard & branch Lotbelow

14 Finished halling all but Guanoed Corn & began
to Shuck Put up 11 young Hogs this morning
