November 15, 1967 - November 23, 1867

1867 Novr 15 Put Stack fodder in Barn Shu[…]
Corn all day brot up Cows in Lot. Cut 2 little
calves for Steers, to day -
Richard & Tom Talbot went to Mill to day
Carried 10 Bushels wheat for us got 2½ Bus
ground & brot it back 7½ Bus. to be ground
& put the good in a Barrel 3 Bags at Mill
Lewis Yates Mill, I went to see Danl Forest
about malling rails he is Coming Monday
to finish Malling Rails for me

16th Clear Pretty morning we are shucking &
Housing Corn this day

17th I went to Court Sunday evening this day &
the night I left home sombody stole nearly
2 piles off Corn out of the Guanoed field

18 at Court. Halled some wood & Pulling
& Haulling up our Corn & found some slab

19th Finished Halling up Corn got nearly
7 Loads in Shucks & began to Shuck & shuck
nearly 1 Load & Housed it, & Put 1 Load shucks
in Cutting House to day clear fine day

20th Shucking & Housing Corn & finished this day
Richard Dennis & aaron helped us finish in
evening about 2 Hours by Sun we made
little upwards 50 Barrels

21st Mr Dalton gone to Mill carried 1 Turn
Corn for me & Henry is to deliver me 2½ Bus
Do this morning I lent him making 1 Bbl
for me [?] Bus. & over for Richd some for Sam
& 2½ Bushels for Mr. Dalton, & he is to bring
my flour shorts & Bran home thats at
the Mill Halling Stalks up to day Sam & Lucy

22 Halling up & putting up stalks Halling wood
Cutting & piling stalks Sewed little ps wheat by stack
Plowed in Garden some put away Cider Press
began to take down Tobacco in old prize
House this morning very Smokey -

23 I went to old place. We are putting away one
Greens cutting down corn stalks Halling wood
