1st Southwest wind light showers sea moderate. Bar 30.78. General duties for the day. 1st asst showing 6 visitors in the tower.

2nd Light E to north east wind to dead calm sea smooth. Bar 30.4. Keeper and 1st asst washing. 2nd asst showing 5 visitors in the tower.

3 Light east wind to fog in PM dry sea smooth. Bar 30.52. 1st asst sawing wood. 2nd asst went to Newport for mail. Keeper left station for Newport 3:00 PM.

4 Light east to north east wind dry to calm & fog sea ver smooth. Bar 30.56. Keeper returned to station at 2:20 PM. 1st and 2nd asst working in there respective quarters.

5 Calm to light east wind clear to fog sea smooth. Bar 30.40. Keeper and 2nd asst sawing wood. 1st asst went to Newport for mail.

6 Calm to light north wind dense fog sea smooth. Bar 30.32. Keeper and asst keeper working in barn and carpenter shop.

7 Calm to light north wind damp fog to clear sea smooth. Bar 30. 1st and 2nd asst working in there respective quarters. Keeper went to Newport for mail.
