11: Light North wind these 24 hours with high and thick fog. Sea very smooth. 1st asst went fishing and to Newport after mail & supplies. Keeper and assts polishing all brass work at the station. 2nd asst cleaning out his woodshed. Barometer 29.90

12: Light South wind and calm these 24 hours. First part of 24 hours thick damp fog. Last part of 24 hours fog and fair weather. Sea smooth. 1st asst went fishing and showing two visitors in Tower. 2nd asst cleaning lamp chimney. Keeper cleaning reflectors. Barometer 30.05.

13: Light North wind and calm these 24 hours. First part of 24 hours fog showers. Last part of 24 hours fair and warm weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. 1st asst went fishing and showing visitors in the Tower. 2nd asst showing visitors in the Tower. Had seven visitors. Keeper went to Newport. Barometer 30.13. 2nd asst went to Newport after the mail.

15: Light North to variable winds and calm these 24 hours with cloudy and fair weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. Barometer 29.80 today. 1st asst went fishing and showoing visitors in Tower. Had 22 visitors. 2nd asst showing visitors in Tower.

16: Fresh breeze South these 24 hours. First part of 24 hours rain. Last part of 24 hours light rain showers and fair weather. Sea smooth. Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies. Barometer 29.65 to 29.95. 1st asst went fishing today.

17: Light South to North wind these 24 hours. First part of 24 hours little damp. Last part of 24 hours fair weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. 1st asst showing five visitors in the Tower & went fishing. 2nd asst went to Newport. Barometer 30.10. A small Schooner supposed to be the Kate & Ann arrived from the S.W. and anchored one mile south of Cape.

18: Moderate to fresh breeze North these 24 hours with clear fine weather. Sea smooth. The crew of the Schooner Kate and Anna that is anchored south of the cape are hunting sea otter. 1st asst & Keeper showing 16 visitors in Tower. General duties for day. Barometer 30.05.

19: Fresh and moderate breeze North these 24 hours with clear fine weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. Keeper cleaning windows in his part of Dwelling. 1st asst went fishing. 2nd asst showing visitors in Tower & went to Newport after mail. Barometer 29.92. Had 16 visitors.

20: Moderate breeze to light North wind these 24 hours with clear fine weather. Sea very smooth. General duties for the day. 1st asst went fishing. Had four visitors. Keeper went to Newport for supplies. Barometer 29.90 to 29.94 today.

Left the Station at 11:30 a.m.
