Your communication for the Chronicle I recd. yesterday in the afternoon & immediately presented it for insertion. The paper being prepared for the Press, & much matter having been taken from the type, to make room fro the New French Constitution, I was informed it could not appear untill Thursday; it will then be published. The statement respecting Mr Gerry's attendance upon our Convention and also his opposing the Constitution in Convention at Philadelphia is perfectly correct.
