Status: Needs Review

Phillips Academy Andover Sunday Jan 22nd

Dear Louise,

You haven't written me in a long
long time though I have written you several letters. I
will try once more however and see if you will deign
to answer. Father doesn't say whether he rec'd my
letter while in Albion or not. I wish you would
tell me. I would like to have been in Albion with
you and rode about the country with you and Mary
and Helen. I wish too that you were in the Fem
Sem here with. I might then have some one here
that would take some interest in my welfare but
I suppose your school days are finished. Do you ever
look back on them with regret? Now Louise I wish
you would write me a good, long letter and answer
all my questions and tell me all the news. There are
enough of you in the house to write me once a week
at least, I should think. Why, I know of one fellow
that gets a letter from home every other day.
and I am sure that one every day would not come
amiss. I begin to look forward to vacation as
approaching very rapidly and then I shall have the
pleasure of a good, long talk with you. Don't fail
to write to your loving brother Horace
