Dear Father

As Mr & Mrs Ames are here I take
this opportunity of writing to you to let you know
I am in good health & I hope you are the same.
I want 5 dolls [dollars] for entrance money & one dollar to buy
a Selectae (I am studying that book) & [4?]5 cts to pay for
having my dictionary bound. Cousin Nathan Burrill
has been to Providence he said he called at our house
he's been here & has asked me to come to Haverill [Haverhill] &
I am going next Saturday for it is but ten miles from
here. Give my love to Sisters & Aunt. Tell me when
uncle Hasting is a going to be married & where he is
going to live. Give my love to all my companions.
Tell me how Mrs Dyers is & how Mr [Rawson?] does
Answer this letter as quick as you can & believe me to
