Dear Mother and Da4;
As I am due home next Wednesday or Thursday, I think we can }a$i all business
01 the table until then. Anyway I'm not in the mood for writing.
The week end in Boston furnished, I thin&, the necessary something to carry me
through the term. I needed some sort of change, we had a fine tiuie. i£et this fellow Vlpond from
Cornell when we went In. He was the feature performer in the meet in the evening if you read abput
it -jne first place in both the mile and 1000 yd. tfent to the track meet with a couole girls from
wellesley. Slept with Vipond in the Xarker House, ^ot through getting up Sunday at 2:00, had a
wonderful dinner there and came back later In the afternoon.
Yesterday I went up to Exeter with the H all-club and junior varsity basketball
teams to compete with Exeter's represen+atives. Y/e lost both games by close scores. I nlayed for P
s'ort ti^e. Saw Dick Benrer en^ had quite a long talk with hi .
Last Satan.ay w saw Anaover lose a tough game to iuxe+er in pasketball, 30 -
28. However Andover redeemed herself, partly ^t least, by a 33 - 32 victory in dwimming. ^idy
Wingate (A.U.V.) WPs elected captain for next ,year.
It seems as if I had a lot more to say, but I don't think of fcx it no" . i.e'll
letx it go. Don't send my laundry back. Thank John tfor his letter.
