my dear mother yesterday I had the pleasure of receiving
two nice letters from home. The trailing-arbutus
is beautiful and still very sweet which reminds
me very pleasently of what you are doing at
home. Up here there are very few flowers out
except violets and I have seen very few if any
of them. How soon is Cousin Sally Hallowell
coming back to West Medford? I feel very well
and hope you are. The algebra is getting very interesting.
