My dear Mother
In the tournament yesterday our class
took six out of eleven prizes which was doing very well.
We did not however best all the classes in the tug-of-war.
Halberts, the boy whose looks thee liked, is still in
open class and does very well. Yesterday I took a short
walk and shot a little red squirrel which seemed
like Millville. We are going to be examined in
German tomorrow. Father's letter with the P.O.
arrived safely last evening and thine of the 28th this
morning and I am much obliged for both. Lovely day to-day
and it seems like a pity to have to study all day.
I feel well. W.W.S.
