other expences should be defrayed by a tax on those
members who were engaged in the exhibition.
Voted, 3, that the thanks of the society be presented
to Messrs Riddle, Hardy and Porter, and Pratt
was appointed to present them. The records of the
society were then read and a vote of thanks was given
to Shute Mansur and Champion, for the faithful
discharge of their offices during the past term.
The Society then proceded [sic] to elect a President and
Vice President for the ensuing term, and Mr Hardy
was unanimously elected president and Thayer
Vice do, and as there was no one to whom
the library could be given, it was voted that it
should be placed in the power of Messrs Hadly
and Thayer until they could find a suitable person
with whom they might entrust it. The new officers
then took their seats, and leave of dismission was granted
to Shute, Mansur, Champion, Parker, Bent
Emery and Hobart. Voted that we adjourn.

+ (on Octr 4th) Howe, Hardy, Porter, Bradley signed
as members.
