May 14 Society met according to adjournment and attended to the address from the President then proceeded to the choice of officers and chose T.M. Bartlett President, D. Mansfield Vice President and Cook Librarian also E. Thomas & Tucker to propose members to the society, and A Abbot to take charge of the lights the next term.
Voted that thanks be rendered to the President, Vice Pres. and Librarian for thier [sic] faithful discharge of duty. Voted that our next meeting be on the second week of the next term & commence at half past seven. Attest D. Mansfield, the Pres. & Secy
June 11 Society met agreeable to adjournment & chose W.W. Taylor to supply the office (as Librarian) made vacant by the absence of Mr Cook, performed as usual & proposed T. Bradley & H.B. Holmes as candidates to join the society

July 16th Society met according to adjournment - attended to an address from the President and then proceeded to the choice of officers (as many went into the Social Fraternity) and chose T.L. Kimball Pres. Wm W Taylor V.do - and Keys Librarian. Also Noble & Butler to propose members to the Society and A Abbott continued in charge of the lamps &c. As new members J Bointon, A Emerson
July 23d Met performed as usual (except Kimbal excused from performance) and adjourned with a vote that the constitution be read at the commencement of every term.
July 30th Met according to adjournment, performed as usual and adjourned

August 13 Met performed as usual (having postponed the election of officers & and of other regular business on account of having performed it at the dismission of the members in a former part of the term and adjourned untill [sic] the 10th Sep.

Mr Sullivan from performing) and also voted that 2 vol history of China be purchased, also to change the hour of the meeting to 7 oclock, also at his request (A. Abbott) he was honourably dismissed from the society and that John Boynton be admitted to take care of the lamps &c in his stead
17th September Met according to adjournment performed as usual (except declamation spoken by Mr Sullivan instead of Taylor) and adjourned, the meeting of the Soc. being put off untill Friday on account of circumstances
26th Sep. Met according to adjournment performed as usual and adjourned, after having voted the meetings to commence at ½ past 6 oclock also Boynton & Keys were appointed with regard to procuring a box for lamps & voted that the fine (as mentioned in the 11th article of Constitution should be 25 cts for the absence of any member when he was to perform any part & voted that Brothers Stetson & Searles be admitted to join the Soc.

Voted that there be 2 debates on each evening & 2 only perform on each debate, the question to be decided by themselves & made by them to be submitted to the Prest for his rejection or acceptance - Nov. 12th Society met according to adjournment, chose Nathaniel Keys President, Wm. Cook Vice President, Oliver Emerson Librarian, also Henery B Holmes & Calvin Butler to propose members to the Society J Bointon to take charge of the lamps etc. [Illegible] attended to these - post. of the Vice President. and afterward the addess of the President. Voted that both be accepted.
