Lieutenant Uhr, on the occasion of his departure for the Suttor and of his own birthday, entertained a few friends at dinner at George's. The dinner was all that could be desired, and the champagne excellent. After the usual loyal toasts, Lieutenant Marlow proposed the health of Mr. Uhr, and commented upon the valuable service which he had given to the force. Mr. Uhr replied in a suitable manner; and the company dispersed about 10 p.m., highly satisfied with their evening's entertainment.
