Submitted from ASrgt Smith, Coen, which shows Mr Nott of Langi Station did not object to the blacks being on his station if paid to feed them

I have the honor to forward you the attached report No 89:97 from Acting Sergt Smith N^o 162 of Coen which shows Mr. Nott of Langi station in the Coen District did not wish blacks removed from his station until he (Mr. Nott) heard from the Hon^ble the Home Secretary what would be allowed to feed them! -

These blacks have since been sent away from Langi & arrangements made to kill a bullock for them every full moon at the confluence of South Coen & Archer
