Report on M B Hall's Complaints agst Sub Inspector Johnston

Sir I have the honor to return herewith the letter and affidavit of Michael Bird Hall, in which he made certain charges against Sub Inspector Johnstone of the Native Police; together with Sub Inspector Johnstone's reply - copy of proceedings of an investigation held by Mr Inspector Morisset- Mr Morissets Report of the case and some other documents connected with it, from all of which it appears that there is no foundation for the charges preferred. Hall did not atend the enquiry nor attempt in any way to substantiate the charges he made although he received due notice.
