Station near on the hour of starting they hurried
his luggage on the train without weighing and
no charge was made, although heavier than
Captain Ballingall.

4th day of Febr. 1841. The sum of 6£ of 6d -
expenses from Portsmouth to Britannia Stea.
at Liverpool.

The passage from Liverpool to Boston was
paid by Captain Bevis, the Agent Superintendent
of Mail Packets at Liverpool £35 being the
government contract allowance for the conveyance
of Officers each Officer from Liverpool to Halifax
or Boston.
