Hall on the occasion of their Entertainment

On motion of Ald: McGuire seconded by Ald: Allen

Ordered, that the prayer of the petition of the St
Vincent de Paul Society be granted and that the charges for the
City Hall except for Gas be remitted

Ald: J. Carson brought up the petition of the Ladies and
Society of the Queen street C.M Church asking for the usual
remission of the rent of the City Hall on the occasion of their
lecture therein

On motion of Ald: J. Carson seconded by Ald: J.P. Gildersleeve
Ordered, that the petition of the Ladies and
Society of Queen street C.M. Church be granted less Gas

Ald: Creeggan brought up the petition of Andrew
McQuaig and 37 others complaining of the state of Division
street &c Referred to the Committee on Streets &c

On motion of Ald: C.F. Gildersleeve seconded by Ald: R.J. Carson
Ordered, that Alderman Creeggan be reappointed
a member of the Comittees on Streets, Markets and Licenses
to which he was elected on the appointment of the general
Comittees for the year

On motion the Council adjourned
