of logs. Wallace came after dinner and helped V
saw up a log. Grace irons clothes, cleans floors,
made pies, cookies. Irene bakes bread. A cold
raw cloudy Windy half snowy day.
Maud is eleven years old this day.
I wish we could get a letter from Martin.
A dark dull evening looks like rain.
My faith looks up to thee
Thou Lamb of Calvary
Saviour Divine
Now hear me while I pray
Take wash my guilt away
and may I from this day
Be wholy thines.
