A rainy wet morning
Thunder heavy in night
with very vivid lightning.
I pulled the curtains down
to keep out the glare of the
bright flashes of lightning.
A regluar [sic] down pour of
rain in night. Voltie
got a stiff and swolen neck
on left shoulder. I doctor
it with worm wood vinegar and
salt as hot as I can bringing
it out, a little better at 9 am.
Maud has to wash separator
breakfast dishes get dinner &c.
Sent a letter to Amanda Dies
Voltie carries it Post Office
